Perhaps plans for a sequel where Dany is revived since her body was taken by drogon to see the red woman at the end of GOT

my guy emilia is 100% done with this series and the prince that was promised was for the white walkers/long night but we saw how they butchered that. so them trying to shoehorn prophecy into HoTD is just pointless because we've seen GoT and know what happens.

If they wanted to take the angle of George that prophecy is dangerous and doesn't mean much in the end then yeah that's one thing but I don't think that's what they are doing

I wouldn't be so sure. I bet if they threw her a big enough bag, she'd come back There was rumors she was coming back for the Jon Snow sequel show but that was shelved. Perhaps they still got plans to continue the story though in hopes to repair the damage of that s*** ending

I can't think of anything that would ruin the story even more than Dany being resurrected to fight what exactly? who knows

The whole Song of Ice and Fire prophecy thing was George’s idea for the show so it’s at least not just some bullshit the show runners threw in

I think its a good enough idea if they just used it as some like motivating factor for targs throughout history (which has precedent cuz of Rhaegar) but its always going to fall flat because well, we know what happens in GoT

Bran, who's already super shady and took the throne even though he insisted he didn't want it 4 episodes prior. Probably was bad writing but they could use it to say it was apart of his plan

When HOTD S1 started mentioning the Song of Ice & Fire constantly, I very confident that the Jon Snow spinoff was basically going to be GOT 2.0, the white walkers were going to come back, and Dany was going to get resurrected.

Some early leaks were pointing in that direction too. Guess they just couldn’t get the band back together, or HBO didn’t want to take that much of a risk.
