I know it’s been said a million times over now but the way this generation consumes media is so cooked when meaningful and well-written character development is now constituted as “filler”, “boring”, etc.

Was a classic build up episode GoT was famous for. All the storylines moved forward and put the pieces into place for the big explosive finale stuff. It was great.

Having nightmares is just Harrenhal doing what it usually does. You become haunted by your actions, and it’s just putting Aemond in the same position that Daemon was in last season

And Alys did save his life to be fair, and he also has a weird mommy dynamic with older women lol. So he might have caught some feelings.
Not to mention those guys were there to kill Aemond. They would’ve killed Alys, and then went to the castle to take out Aemond . So it’s probably best to catch them off guard like he did

Yeah you highlighted the one guy I highlighted (okay, his brother too, but idk, Aemond just isn’t selling it as well for me, I didn’t include him in my rant for a reason though), how about the people we spend the other 90% of our time with?

I guess if I had to articulate why I’m b****ing so hard without it just being repetition of the complaints people have been making since season 2, it’s frustrating to spend time in this detailed world that’s so easy to get lost in only to have the writing fall flat, especially considering how this show was supposed to make up for them ruining GoT with the same bad habits.
