I actually wanted to see the timeline where they find Aemond. These jokers would've got crushed

Yeah I was like no way they're winning that lmfao
If they rape a 6 year old girl in the books then yea we didn’t need that
they didn't
they just threatened to. still bad, but hell nah.
The book is told through the eyes of the maesters and not to be taken as 100% accuracy
This too
If they rape a 6 year old girl in the books then yea we didn’t need that
they don't, but they use that threat to force helaena to make an impossible choice
in the show she was weirdly quick to point to jaehaerys without much prompting and then just leaving him there. she doesn't even plead for them to kill her instead.
wait never mind I do have it lol
I may read up until this scene
be aware it is not written like a novel
And let’s be honest, if they did end up showing that explicitly we’d have dozens of articles and Twitter threads saying “did the writers go too far???” or “Was it necessary to show that level of violence towards a child??” Etc etc
So you can’t really make everyone happy when you adapt something like that . It would’ve always been controversial

this is true but there's also the question of "does this change make for more gripping television" and in this case the answer is no

I didn't really understand why she didn't try to fake them out lol. Like I thought that's what she was doing like Blood said lmfao. Then again, when she was pointing, it looked like she was pointing to the kid closer to her and not Jaehaerys. A weirdly shot scene

I was gripped up the stakes were high enough for me

i don't know why they didn't just adapt one of the accounts word for word.
they had the answers to the test and got a C.
they had the receiver wide open on a streak and checked it down.
open shot and dribbled into a contest
be aware it is not written like a novel
Im guessing just a loose collection of stories?
You have to genuinely be interested in Westeros lore and worldbuilding before you decide if you want to read Fire & Blood
It’s nothing like the ASOIAF books, but it’s really phenomenal reading material
they removed helaena's youngest son too, which completely changes the whole dynamic. in the book she was forced to choose one of her sons to die or watch these sickos rape her 6 year old daughter. then when she chose the youngest, they killed the oldest anyways.
went from a sophie's choice horror story to blank faced "the boy is dead"
they made no such threat to the daughter in the book
Im guessing just a loose collection of stories?
Nah its written like a history book
All I know is Cheese has to die for kicking the doggo
Wait what was the point of the dog lol
Im guessing just a loose collection of stories?
You don’t get character perspectives or dialogue. It’s more like if Maester’s were sitting in a room and gossiping and telling old stories about the Targaryen dynasty . And it takes you through their history starting from the beginning
It’s not for everyone, but like I said if you care about Westeros lore it’s really good stuff .
And since it’s not told from character perspectives, there’s an air of mystery to the book because you’re constantly reminded that there’s no certainty that the stories being told are 100% factual
they made no such threat to the daughter in the book
"Cheese warned the queen to make a choice soon, before Blood grew bored and raped her little girl."
straight from fire and blood
Her just happening to come across her child's dead body on the shore was a choice
