This felt like a transition episode, I think the point of the episode was to setup the plot points for the teen and young adult characters to start having a bigger part of the war

There was a big focus on Jacaerys and Aemond, and I think that was very intentional

It was a very solid episode imo. I think the show will find a nice pace and flow for the last 3 episodes

I’ve noticed Ryan Condal likes to change up things right after the half way point of the season

Episode 6 of season 1 was when the big time jump happened, and the episode was mostly dedicated to introducing the new generation of Targs and establishing new conflicts . And the show really picked up in pace in the 2nd half

And now we are once again past the half way point, and it seems like the show is again shifting things around to prepare for these final few episodes

how many more episodes is Daemon gonna be visited by the ghost of christmas past

if I have to endure another scene with mysaria….

the longer a targ is in harrenhal, the more they will experience these cursed dragon dreams. thanks balerion and aegon the conqueror for that
