Never finished this but sadly didn’t like any of the seasons I saw quite as much as I liked the first. There were good character moments, etc. like any TV show, but the first season felt so much more visceral.
first season was the peak and the climax was superb, most of the deaths had an impact and the prison kept that dante's hell aura while being authentic and emotional
Binging this show for the first time. Halfway through season 2 and it’s pretty fire but I can’t stand this wheelchair nigga commentating every 5 minutes
Lowkey changed my perspective of Christopher Meloni since I had only seen him on Law & Order

He’s soo goofy with that basketball player
My mom had me watching this at like 6 and told me this what happens when you don't listen to her

wtf
I loved this show, top tier HBO and even though it was years back it didn’t feel dated. I love how experimental it got and how the themes of the episode would come to play where it got you like by the end. Agree with everyone else tho ending could’ve been way better especially with how the characters ended up. Really felt like they knew it was the end so they wanted to kill most of the main cast
Seeing O Reilly dancing around and wrecking cars in those geico commercials cracks me up every damn time
Just finished this. Wanted to stop watching halfway through the last season when they killed my nigga Said. The reason dude shot him was lame asf too
Overall it was a very entertaining show (finale was mid tho). Had some of the best casting I’ve ever seen. Omar White was probably my favorite late addition, played the character really well. Wish they kept Nino, Ortolani and Keane around for a few more seasons though
Dumbest storylines were the inmate boxing tournament, CO NBA player, the priest astral projecting into peoples cells, and Rebadow being psychic and winning the lottery.
Also Oz gotta have the weakest security of any max prison oat lmaooo. No cameras, walls made of breadsticks and inmates having access to every single part of the building
Side note: Beecher can’t catch a break bruh. Nothing but tragedy after tragedy for him 😭
I'mma rewatch this next week after finishing the leftovers. Legendary show and most underrated/under the radar of the OG HBO classics
