Highly disappointed Pizzalazzo and Downey Jr. couldn't put something together. Also don't know why they used the original name for anything other than clout. As it is, it's great and I hope they take their time.

Facts not feeling it so far. Don't see how much more story they can tell without dragging it

Yeah even though he’s very hit or miss as a writer I would’ve liked to see Pizzolatto’s take on this.

That being said, I think Rhys works a lot better here than RDJ would’ve. Maybe it’s just cause I’m burned out by him as an actor since the MCU stuff, but I’m glad he dropped out.

I like it but also think it's still finding its footing in a lot of ways

  • Aug 3, 2020

season 1 almost over how we feeling about this?

all in all I dig it though I think it can be a bit heavy handed in some areas and could use just a tad more lightheartedness to balance out the depressing, morbid vibe...Rhys is great as Mason but also can't help but think of how Downey Jr. would have played certain scenes...anyways it's been renewed for a 2nd season so we'll see where this goes! Tonight's episode was one of the better ones

nah not your fault, haven't seen any promotion for this at all

season 1 was underrated and I'm hoping season 2 is even better. TV needs more noir and Rhys needs more recognition
