tippyBest show on television rn. I love how it almost feels anti-prestige and harkens back to the good ol’ days. No big name actors, no crazy budget, no attempts at being cinematic. Just tremendous writing & tremendous acting. Sometimes that’s all you need to make a story & the characters in it worth investing in.

Kinda gives me similar vibes as The Bear s1 where it offers a hyper realistic portrayal on the work setting it’s taking place in. Same sort of manic energy and heavy dialogue and everything. And it’s becoming an unexpected breakout just like that show did too
We’ll see if season 2 brings in the unexpected well-known guest stars & more cinematic vibes like that show did, though
