Really liked the pilot and all of the documents, particularly the Rorschach one, which, as I pointed out... um... elsewhere (RIP), adds another dimension to the Kavalry (they may be conflating Schach’s misanthropy with white supremacy but they are completely correct in their beliefs regarding the D.I.E.). Everyone who’s into the show should definitely read them, especially if you’re coming to it as someone who’s read the comics.

This good so far. Reznor and Atticus gotta step up their game tho. Their work is always good obv but only great for Fincher movies.

U right trust me huge reznor and Atticus fan. Their scoring work and nin is top tier but find some of their soundtracks a little derivative. Pilot episode score strong but sounds a lot like past projects. listen to opening bird box track. Every other track they’ve done post gone girl sounds like that.

Oh, okay gotchu. Thought it was dope tho, one of the best parts about the pilot

Really interested to see how Dr. Manhattan factors into all of this. In the recent DC comics he’s kind of played as an antagonist, so it’s really up in the air on how they choose to depict him

Exactly I feel like they did it because leftovers ratings were low . The director of this episode directed one of the best episodes of leftovers ( the boat lion ) so I believe in the future

Not following Doomsday Clock tho, makes it more spicy now for comic readers, Lindelof will hopefully top it also

This is an interesting scene to me because it juxtaposes the threat of a white supremacist terrorist organization, with a very left leaning authoritarian state. The suspect has no rights to a lawyer, and he was essentially abducted from his home. They didn’t read any rights to him. He was literally put in the trunk, not the back seat of the car in handcuffs. This is a very interesting take on political ideologies clashing together."

3x . So many small details being missed.

I Feel a middle man is playing both sides.
