Yes
I love Westworld but how is it getting renewed with little viewership.
Like it's a very niche show
let me preface this comment by saying i love this show. the only reason I let it get away with certain issues is because I think the questions it asks and ideas it explores are very contemporary but with a futuristic spin.
Maeve NEEDS to have a huge last episode where she either gets out from under Serac's thumb, or changes her entire motive completely, because the whole daughter thing has just been super meh and unconvincing. Everytime Delores asks her those 'deep' questions it makes me as an audience member think to myself 'wait yk what Delores is right lol wtf is this idiot Maeve doing'. I thought the fight seen was badass though, one of the better of the season and series.
Williams story is so ehhh. I really do not want to believe that his reconditioning worked and that is why his attitude is the way it is, but for him to have zero compassion for the hosts, while kind of making sense, you'd think after Bernard and Stubbs literally save him from potential mind degradation, he'd at least ponder what his motives really were.
I thought they finally nailed Caleb with this episode. Really complicated and serious s*** that happened with him. With the backstory we got on him, we also got backstory on the world and this whole reconditioning thing as well, which I just thought was really well done. It helped me visualize and comprehend Rehboam's powers more so than I have been able to in the past.
Lastly, Bernard's role this season has fkn blown man. It feels like all this mans does it extract some data, tell us about it and why it is important, and then dip for another two episodes. He's like the fkn narrator in a sense and it just sucks.
Maeve needs a new motivation
In the middle of season 2, but please don't tell me she still trying to find her daughter?

It’s a good show 🤷🏽♂️

Not technically
is caleb really destroying humanity? this episode didn’t make me think that tbh
Bernard says Caleb is going to destroy humanity

BIG RT with the whole Maeve thing. I've been annoyed with her as a character this whole season because of that.
As for William, he's always been an a****** so I'm not surprised he's gonna seriously try to commit host-icide.
And yea Bernard literally only exists to take Ls and explain s*** lol. Him & Stubbs are a s***ty team but I love em together
“Don’t lecture me you f***in can opener”
This line 100% is summarizes Stubbs existence on this show

is it me or was Stubbs accent all over the place this episode lol. He kept having like voice cracks or something idk what was up with him lol
Maeve still going on about her lil micro sd card while Dolores is as interesting as a white sheet of paper & breaking bad dude yelling at his computer
.
So Serac isn't real right?
I’m starting to think not.
I’d bet his creation had him killed

The shots of him on the plane, or wherever he is, are the only thing that gives me pause. But I've lost count how many times he's given us a variation of "the Serac you knew no longer exists"

I see serac being a human form of that AI machine Hoboken, or whatever it’s called lol

I get the feeling their irrelevance is meant to be a comedic relief at this point.
They look so clueless most of the time I can't help but laugh

couldn't agree more, this last season has been miserable compared to the first two.
