I think someone or a blog did the calculations and it would of still sold more with the additional 2 days
Drizzy had more streams even with those two less days tho
How many of the 275k pure sales was bundles? Is there any way to tell? He only did 169k in stream sales.
There’s no way to tell but it’s highly unlikely that any more than 50k of them were actual normal digital sales a la iTunes purchases and the like. So in all likelihood if you took away the bundles DLDT would’ve outsold. But there’s no concrete way to determine the bundle mix

But inputting damn physical sales it wouldnt matter tho. If more life was released on physical drake would of easily outsell or be on par with damn sales
to be completely honest, if both did bundles, drake would win by a wide margin. sales at this point don't matter for those two tbh @Brave

Let’s break it down
In a full tracking week there are 168 hours... More Life lost out on 44.5 hours (dropped 8:30PM EST Saturday on streaming services), so it had 123.5 hours of tracking
168 / 123.5 = 1.36
More Life did 279k in streaming first week. If you extrapolate this out to a full tracking week... 279k x 1.36 = 379k
Add in the 379k to the 226k pure -> 605k, which outsells DAMN. by a couple thousand
NOTE: this calculation does assume constant streams throughout all tracking hours, which is inaccurate as they would’ve been tapering off slightly in the additional hours. To offset this I am assuming zero additional pure sales during the extra 44.5 hours of tracking

It was fun to do the math. I like calculations. I was also interested in the result
Are you really intimidated by numbers in your own numbers thread?

Where u get the 297k from tho
You really typed this
I ain’t even bother to finish reading it and I’m a Drake Stan lmao
A thing to add to the thread tho if hasn’t been said yet was lack of physicals Drake and the top 3 really do still be doing big numbers off physicals

There are no calculations to do lmao
Drake missed out on friday and saturday which are the two biggest streaming days

Yes there is lol, look above

The 279k is the ~257k from SEA plus the ~23k of TEA. It’s the whole 505k SPS minus the ~225k pure sales.
I actually thought the 279k was just the SEA before you asked but I think using SEA + TEA is just as valid because people would’ve been buying the tracks individually as well as streaming over the last two days.

No not really
You can do all the calculations but that’s still hypotheticals plus the math you did doesn’t make Drake look anymore impressive
Drake’s ML sells 605k if it had a full week according to your calculations
Kendrick sold 601k with DAMN
DAMN has half the songs ML has lol
Lmao and they always comparing Drake to Kenny

.... bro my post didn’t have a pro-Drake agenda. I didn’t know what the result was going to be when I started the math. I don’t really give a s*** that Drake sold less with a playlist than Kendrick did with an album. Drake’s 2016 and 2018 albums both outsold Kendrick.m

Who said anything about pro Drake agendas ? All I said was hypothetically even if it did 605k with your math that’s still not as impressive as Kendrick doing 601k with half as less songs lol

You told me the math “didn’t make Drake look more impressive” when that wasn’t the goal of my post. My intention was to try to calculate a reasonable expectation of More Life sales if it had been given a full tracking week, because someone made the claim that someone else had done the calculation. I wanted to verify using my own method
