Numbers werent down in 2016. People were still buying albums, thats why it did 140k pure. Same reason why Views sold 1.04 mil. Its harder to do big numbers in the streaming era

Yeah but 2016 was the year that actual album sales started massively declining and streaming was taken more into account, remember that summer everyone was selling subpar. I'm not saying 250K is bad for Drake for the demo tape but I think UU would've sold more than 200K too nowadays.
