anyone who noticed the intensely mediocre feature run he went on for a year prior to it lol. maybe they didn't actively think "wow dawn FM is gonna suck", but when it dropped they definitely didn't make it a priority to listen to. that's what happens when you flood the space with "okay" music, people just become less interested. it is what it is, he'll be fine as long as he steps back a little bit before his next album.
