So only What's Next, Wants and Needs and Lemon Pepper Freestyle count for him this year and those make up less than 600 million of his streams. The remaining 3B of his streams are from his back catalog. He'd still be #2 if he didn't drop anything this year.
I never said he released projects this year. But in last three years he has released a care package, rerelease of so far gone and a project last year with songs that were send to radio for promo.

Fanbase was the wrong word. It's just that he hasn't been around and last dropped a project a full year ago and doesn't have a huge amount of music so I wouldn't expect him to still get this many streams
