That may be, Frequency Therapeutics already seem to have developed an injection that can restore dead inner ear cells, tho the trials are gonna last for a while longer and who even knows when or if it'll go to market
The thing that bugs me is that my ears are now so messed up that going to nightclubs, concerts and even the cinema is an absolute no-go, so that's a lot of cool stuff in my 20s just gone, it's why I'm basically evangelical about turning your volume down in so many threads, I don't want anyone else to end up in my situation

Thanks bro, day-to-day it doesn't bother me too much, stuff like loud cars are like random attacks though, but occasionally I'll see something and realise 'Oh yeah, I can't do that anymore' and it'll bum me out, gotta get on with it tho

Ii appreciate it man, I barely went to concerts too, for me it ended up being headphone use over time, that's why I'd say a lotta people ITT should take a break and use speakers instead often
