Yeah people have a lot of legitimate concerns with censorship and suppression and it's not for nothing. We're all expected to know the same things at the same time and if you don't you're ridiculed and people get condescending which just pushes people further away

may I remind you there are yearly outbreaks of a preventable disease (measles) in some communities that would literally cease to exist if ppl just got vaccinated for it?

i dunno i'm imaginin something like a livestream of informed ppl just sitting around with all the relevant information at the fingertips and who are capable of translating it into normal-person-speak if a question gets brought up. mby ppl send in questions beforehand and then the ppl can ask more after those initial questions r answered. and the rzn i related it to a town hall is that i think it should be geofenced or smthn so the streams aren't just flooded with trolls

Yes I think that would be a great form of informing people. Because indeed trolls flooding the streams would be a scenario to ruin things. If you're going to geofence it, you would have to make your own stream with chat possibility. Isn't there a way to do this via Facebook or a open streaming service which doesn't require an account? Would love to make some sort of demo for this.
