Ima come clean In My Mind and In Search Of grew on me over the years

I’ve always felt P best work was with other artists. I don’t think his solo/NERD discog truly encapsulates how legendary he is. When his album dropped I was lowkey disappointed. P isn’t the best rapper but he can hold his own. His style def impacted the culture. I remember making Milo characters on his site lol And NERD catalogue is good not great imo. I recognize how iconic that material is though

I’m a lifetime fan so I heard all of this in real time. Tyler def helped introduce another generation to Neptunes so I feel like people appreciate those projects more than when they released

But HHNF was always amazing to me. I remember being mind blown by Mr. Me Too. When I first heard it I downloaded the song AND the instrumental on Limewire lol you don’t hear beats like that often bruh. Became a huge Clipse fan after that. Burned copies of We Got It For Cheap Vol 1 and 2. Was obsessed with the cover and the swag at the time

Neptunes got rap hits scattered throughout their discog but HHNF full of some cold ass tracks from top to bottom. I don’t think they have another rap album that offers the same experience
