The instrumental under snoops verse started to bother me. I know I heard it somewhere before, which brought me back to this j cole classic

Do any other songs have this melody/sample because i feel like theres another one but its slipping my mind

whosampled actually doesnt have the esther record as a sample for pharrell, it doesnt list any samples, only sounds from vsts.

but that is def the esther record as well (just not listed yet), or they played their own rendition of it.

Yea right? they definitely interpolated it bc thats live music from the roots, i shouldve went straight to j cole on whosampled, it was the mobb deep one i couldnt remember, good looks

all submissions i believe are all solely user based there and then reviewed by a site mod, so it could be it just isnt labeled yet on the site as well.

but yeah pharrells is more "cleaner" n more sparse/hollow, so it probably is just a re-done with their own hardware.
