I can kinda see why they have to stare at their pedalboard

Shoegaze is like a heavy, ominous cloud of sound with vocals put thru so many filters it’s hard to even tell what’s being said

A man of culture

Just listen to this a couple of times

it’s less a specific kind of instrumentation or arrangement and more so an attitude or approach to rock songwriting

but when i think of traditional shoegaze i think of walls of sound, and layering guitars as texture
