My options are a big university 5 hours away or a 3 semester college program then transfer to the big uni in my current city to finish the remaining 2.5 years of my bachelors, bcus at that point even tho ion really f*** w my current city id just stick it out
Originally plan A was my main choice but now im hearing word that second semester might be online too. I moved here about two yrs ago after hs and was looking forward this semester to finally moving to a campus and building a circle etc but obviously w what’s going on. If only the fall was online id be cool but honestly my social life will suffer more going to a school five hours away for a whole year while living in a city im still kinda new in
The 3 semester program is still online but benefit is people attending all live here i guess, although they all seem kinda lame, atleast the dudes. Plus they’re like all 1-2 years younger than me.
As far as the academics that’s equalized so the same outcome for both option, the issue now is the other secondary s***
Tldr: F*** corona for taking away a year of my life
wherever cheaper
The college in my city cheaper than the uni $1400 vs $4700 for the fall semester but im not really weighing that
I was really looking forward to moving to dorms
if you're getting the same level of education obviously go for cheaper! all that other stuff nice until u deep in debt mane
If all the courses at the cheaper college are transferable and applicable to the major you want at the uni after the three semesters then 100% yes.
Man f*** all that social s***, save your money. Go with the cheaper option
Why you tryna build social groups during covid anyways

im lucky that depth wont really be an issue for me fortunately that’s why im not considering price
