My brand new headphones (3,5mm) don't work on my smartphone

The headphones aren't the problem since I tried them with my computer and they worked just fine.

I've tried cleaning my headphone jack and an audio router app and it still doesn't work...
I need advice: should I just buy Bluetooth headphones or get my phone repaired/checked out?
