one of the best scenes in the shows entire run.
Looking at the other thread made me think about how much Arnold did for his companions and peers.
And in the Jungle movie, which was cool just wish they could have gotten Arnold original voice, there was a scene where they played a video for Arnold of many of the people he helped through the show. That was a really clever thing to do and not even gone lie actually made me tear up a little when I first watched it. That was actually pretty moving.Hes such a good dude
Kinda related but as I’ve gotten older I realize more and more movies make me emotional now it’s kind of crazy

Yeah I think it's cuz as we get older we start seeing the actual meaning behind media that's made to be deep, as opposed to when we were younger it was just entertaining but we didn't really know why. Now we see how stuff relates to us in real life if it's written well enough. My take on it at least
Like so many cartoons from back in the day now I can go back and watch and see how much grown up problems, ideologies, innuendoes, relationship stuff etc, there was
Crazy thinking that Hey Arnold had some dark stuff..
Helga's mom - portrayed depressive alcoholic
Helga's parents - child neglect for Helga and favoritism for the other daughter
Pigeon Man and Monkey Man - misunderstood outcasts of society
Arnold - not having his parents
Bullying - Harold to most everyone at some point, Helga to everyone too lol
Using friends -Helga taking advantage of best friend Phoebe
Some realistic good things as well like
I can go on just ranting but I just really appreciate how deep that show is. Other shows get decades but that only got 4 seasons kinda sucks.

Getting old makes us sentimental and really treasure cathartic moments like this
