The2nDreamAlso idk wym by that first point “as a black person thrown in a fantasy world” doesn’t feel like a good enough excuse for the bad writing. Idk nobody that realistically talks and acts like Fraye.
I don’t think she should’ve been super welcoming to all this new s*** going on but they just gave the VA lines to read and added “asshole” to the end of every line and it’s like what’s the point of her character? Idk everything about this game but this s*** chewy asf
I mean in terms of viral clips of the main character making fun of the self serious rhyming world
Some of the criticism to her is to me hyper critical cause we have gotten dogshit rpg characters for years lmfao.
Some of her writing is obviously mixed but is it astronomically bad ? No . At least not many of those that went viral for being terrible . She is a homeless teen

Initially I didn't like the rhythm-based combat, and I still think I probably would have enjoyed it moreso without, but it grew on me a lot. Didn't expect the combat mechanics and move variety to be as fleshed out as it was.
They definitely need to improve the platforming for the next game, the main character just moves too slow and desperately needs a sprint button. Level design gets progressively better (the Museum stage was definitely Persona 5 inspired).
Overall, the game is definitely worth playing even though I don't think its this GOTY contender people make it out to be. I played through Gamepass but its more than worth the $30 asking price imo

Just finished this game, was pretty good

id have no lifed this game already if i had a way of playing it easily.
i have good internet for streaming and latency isnt bad but its just not good enough for me to warrant playing the game as intended
