    I love Kanye but there’s no way Power took 5000 hours. Maybe he meant 500

    I believe it. Power has like 3-4 versions. ye has different verses for each one. SNL power, Power remix feat jay, Power official and I think he freestyle during a concert

    Drake paying that kid at Pusha show to attack him/buying the first two rows

    I think people are not aware of how much is 5000 hours. A year has 8760 hours, 5000 hours is 57% of that. Do you really think Kanye spend 57% of an entire year doing literally nothing else than working on a single song?

    And how did they calculated it? Lol
    Did each producer had a timer for when they were working on the song and they add it all together?

    No way, Kanye most likely just threw a random number or he did a weird as math

    So they were counting?

    Probably, to an extent. Every story about Hawaii shows they had a strict schedule and recording regimen, for the core group. And the non-core group, you would pay for their time, so you can also count it. It's not unbelievable to me. Not saying he didn't guesstimate though

    Of course he guesstimated but I don't see how that number is hard to believe. Might have been 5500 hours, might have been 4500

    Everyone knows that most of the s*** that most these rappers talk about is cap. But some dudes just take it to a whole new level with the storytelling, even when the large majority of the listeners know it’s cap. For ex;

    • Hov & the story about losing 92 bricks & returning them in 7 days. Like fam u parked ur car & went to get a fade & suddenly 92 f***in bricks just vanished when you came out
      Or u really think someone moving that much coke would be on Hawaiian Sophie hanging from a tree

    • drake & the pusha t come back for obvious reasons. Dude just sounds like the one guy in HS who talks about his gf from another school that goes to New Jersey on the weekends & is not allowed out of her house on weekdays so nobody ever saw her

    The drake track was real lol

    lol nah he was working on other things but ye does become very obsessive and I can see him finishing the song then scrapping it and then tweaking constantly
