While this is true, it doesn’t mean he likes these artists. Although there are a few I jam in this list.. it does not feel good to say this is what we have in hip hop right now. But if anyone disagrees with this list.. look at how advertised these guys are vs who YOU think is big right now. We can also say that these media outlets feed us what they think is hot right now which is partially true.. but also, nobody is doing jack s*** but staying in their respective circle’s because they’re afraid to branch out and have the chance to lose their hook in success. It’s a bunch of scared artists that don’t want to lose their fan bases by going ‘mainstream’ which doesn’t even hold weight anymore if we’re being honest.

Yeat won’t be able to break through for people over the age of like 25. Jack Harlow could stay as relevant as he was if he keeps dropping radio hits but he could also easily fall off the face of the earth. All the others won’t even be known in five years.

I dislike both NGL. Jackman is decent but is missing something for me. AGC was carried by beats so hard and I feel like I'm being gaslit but Ken cannot rap. Like at all. He's offbeat, genuinely literally mumbling but not even in a melodic way so its just disconcerting. I swear I'm trippin
