CloudyDreamsit capitalized on her name which blew up off her shaking her ass in that meme ass Munch music video so more people heard it
but everyone is mostly singing the hook and loves it because its just a great song. Nobody knows anything about Ice's verse besides that line I mentioned. She was an afterthought on the song.
The ice spice version is a remix. The OG song was out for months before it was remixed and didn't blow up like that. The pic of ice x pink started floating around on twitter and gaining hype which led to the video which led to it going viral. U cant minimalize Ice in this situation at all

This song could have been made by a fairly unknown rapper and the doja cat stan base wouldn’t make it past the first verse instead we have people not in reality calling this good and saying it will go number 1 I wish these types would see this as a reality check but I know they will never learn
