So idk if im just a weirdo loser but, i subbed to this channel HipHop DX like 5 years ago, when they had this black dude who goes by "TheCompanyMan", but w/e so since years ago they like 2-3 days late to everything and post s*** videos and he's gone.
Anyone like, feel this creepy ass depressing "matrix"/"subliminal spaces" vibe from these dead channels and organizations that just pump out s*** that no one wants and u see all these people workin full time jobs to put out s*** videos with like 500 views, like the f***ing dame dash network, and it's like damn billions of us are just f***ing talking to a flat panel of coloured lights spending decades working s*** labour jobs to give money to these companies to pull the metaphorical slot lever and maybe get famous or some dumb s*** but then u realize thats like ur only chance to be free then its like well this whole planet is just a slave trap for wealthy people then it's like i might as well do my money dance its better than being locked in a cage man what is life jesus christ.
HipHop DX makes me depressed, i ain't a good dancer and better dancers than i have been thrown to the curb, im starting to like get old and realize i aint gonna be rich, id be lucky to end up normal one day. I use dancing as a metaphor for appeasing those in power.
It's like they had the recipe, business heads+ great host, then somehow it went to s*** and now both parties are f***ing broke. Like you can literally have talent and enormous wealth and still end up with nothing.
Yes. Justin Hunte used to put out QUALITY work man. I only view DX videos if they're CompanyMan or WWF related.
no like, I actually 100% agree with you OP but this is too damn woke, go back to sleep brother

Him & ProDaGoat were the only reasons I tuned in tbh
Justin’s got his own channel now tho:
Hiphopdx was my main source of news and music when I was in middle school back in the day
They used to really get exclusives and even tag their songs which would make its way to limewire files sometimes , big dawgs in the rap media industry
As technology moves on so does the means of learning information , journalist websites in many mediums are few and far in between with the word of mouth of social media and word of mouth is everything these days
The line between truth and fiction has blurred and echo chambers now rule the consciousness of American society , the internet has grown too powerful for many people to handle
The endless content creation complex is definitely interesting but post what strain you were smoking to get there from HipHopDX videos being ass lmao
The content industry does upset me to think about. Tons of people put out something everyday that barely anyone will see. Idk how hip hop dx stays running tbh like you can barely pay someone off the revenue their videos bring and websites don’t make jack s***.
I really feel bad for dame dash even though he brought it upon himself he gets absolutely no engagement on his instagram and if he had 1000 subs for his network id be surprised. A lot of people are making content that is them just talking into a void
