They both a lot more similar alive than ppl think, only thing pac has is longevity.

Ready To Die was a f***ing landmark album with damn near no filler.

  • May 11, 2025

people saying pac has more hits buts it’s not as far off as people think. which is impressive cus pac had like 3 more albums than biggie and dropped way more music in general

  • May 11, 2025
    this is not an alt

    Juicy
    Mo Money Mo Problems
    Hypnotize
    Big Poppa

All hits of the highest caliber. Pac only got California Love and Changes on that level. But this site has mass deluded itself a long time ago, so not even surprised about what I’m seeing itt.

    thread should have ended here

  • May 11, 2025

pac is the goat and got some major hits
generally speaking pac and biggies hits are all relative in popularity
but there is no discussion where pacs hits are more sensational than biggies

  • May 11, 2025

Biggie can match the amount of Pac hits with a much shorter catalog

    GodzillaMinusOne

    Party & BS
    Juicy
    Warning
    Gimme Da Loot
    Big Poppa
    Machine Gun Funk
    Who Shot Ya
    One More Chance Remix
    Flava In Ya Ear Remix
    Playas Anthem
    Get Money
    Hypnotize
    Kick In The Door
    F*** You Tonight
    I Love The Dough
    What's Beef
    Mo Money Mo Problems
    N*ggas Bleed
    Notorious Thugs
    Going Back To Cali
    10 Crack Commandments
    Sky Is The Limit
    Long Kiss
    Victory
    Been Around The World

    etc...

Y'all itt saying Biggie don't got hits? it's the opposite--he's got the best shooting % in rap history and one of the best in music history

One more chance remix def my favourite song by him

Saying something isnt worth engaging with then saying pac dont have classics

    Irony in its purest form

I never said Pac doesnt have classics, I said he doesnt have a album on the level of Biggies and that the general consensus is that Biggie has better albums than Pac.

    What I've said isnt controversial

  • May 12, 2025

    Pac easily

  • May 12, 2025

Closer than I thought at first but still Pac ngl. Both so elite

Life after death wasn’t gonna be that if he didn’t die. They made it a double album and had hits, fire album
Also saying pac has no album with the caliber of biggie albums is insane

I read your post as you saying he didnt have classic albums but I understand what you mean now, thats my bad

I will say he doesn’t have an album thats as loved as Ready To Die. I don’t disagree that Ready To Die is basically only on the same level as a few other albums, and I wasnt trying to make it like I disagree that Biggie is highly rated but its not true to say Pac doesnt get ranked in top 5s and 10s because the only time he doesnt is by non rap critics or online niggas who didnt grow up on rap. I know a lot of rap fans irl who have All Eyez On Me in their top 10 and 5. Thats my moms fav album oat and she said her whole friend group felt the same way, my dad not even a pac fan hes a biggie stan and all eyez on me is in his top 5.

S*** me personally Me Against The World is my 3rd favorite rap album oat I know im not close to the only one.

Thats the only reason why I was strongly getting the vibe U aint grow up around rap fans, im from a city that as a whole dont even fw east coast rap so that s*** sounds crazy to me basically everyone I knew growing up had a Pac album in they top 10 rap albums

Yeah I hear you, bless up.

I probably have MATW in my top 10 personally, but funnily enough Im not a massive fan of AEOM as an album as its a bit too bloated. But obvs there are some of the best Pac songs on it and it was a moment in time so I defo get how why its rated so highly.

The first time I listened to AEOM I didn’t like it at all. I really didnt like Pac at all until my 11th grade year and I grew up loving Biggie

I def fw it more now but I like Me Against The World way more, I really started listening to it during the worst time in my life and I genuinely think that album was what got me through it. I feel like thats why I be getting so heated when I debate about Pac lol but I definitely understand what you’re saying now more once you further explained your point

    Have a good day

    Elvis vs Chuck

    Dylan vs Neil
Zeppelin vs Floyd (or Stones or Who)
    Pistols vs Clash
JD/New Order vs Cure (or Depeche)
    Nirvana vs Pearl Jam
Oasis vs Blur (should've been Pulp)

    just fun to debate

tupac was literally known for like 4 songs before death row

he said himself he was more known for controversy than music at the time
