LJPerry02Metro has .5% the work ethic and versatility of Hit, yet for some reason heās still heralded as some kind of god amongst producers. People will fr put him above the dude who made Ugly, Legit, One Way Flight, Bus Stop etc.

I don't think Metro is really seen as a god level producer in terms of versatility or even much his style, but his presence as an Artist & brand in hip-hop is something young guys aspire to be like. Its not really the music itself but more on how iconic & popular he became, his tag literally spawned memes

the three artist in those records have different sounds, and the records sound nothing alike. the fact that he was able to create these vastly different sounding records even if the underlying drums patterns are similar, and for them to all be successful commercially is more impressive than being a jack of all sounds
