a little bloated, sure. that's a valid criticism and it clearly takes away from the project as a whole. but if you take that as given, and are willing to carve out your favorites from the huge ass projects he give us, you'll find a solid collection of songs each time. he isn't giving us the concise albums anymore bc hes too big, he appeals to too many audiences, people itt cant even pick the same top 5 or top 10 or whatever.
all that to say, yes, the project as a whole - was mid. but the era, the songs we got out of the project - not mid
i wish he'd take the time to structure his releases better. honestly this album felt more like it should have been titled "HER LOSS" (or "SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS" with that baby m sample) and the 21 project should have been "FOR ALL THE DOGS"
but i digress
Still reserved for views his rapping on there sucked!
100% dude was asleep on a track called "Hype"
Not really
not at all
they have to push revisionist history on his newer releases so hard

One would have to put this on the Upper-Mid Echelon because there is plenty on this project to be enjoyed, but it's nowhere near perfect.
Depending on when Drake stops making music I feel like people will be praying for more of this "mid" if its all downhill from here.
But I'm hoping Drake has some later career triumphs and surprises us all.
One thing im def seeing is people who liked the views era drake don't like this album (yet somehow like clb), and the older drake stans like me love the r&b cuts and some of the more mood music type jawns..
this was def by no means his greatest album, yes it doesn't have as much rap as it should, but to say it's out of rotation is crazy (Virginia Beach drew a Picasso tried our best FPS RBD 7969 Amen away from home all the parties polar opposites red button evil ways YBMH lol cmon)...
tbh if you don't fw it just means you'd rather listen to tracks about being a "gang member" or about being "hard" and you prolly play tf out of her loss.. not a bad thing at all just clear your not gonna vibe to this s*** about getting dealing with and leaving women and trials and tribulations of tryna find the one. My apologies to OP for not being able to relate 🤷🏾♂️
My dream is Drake gives up rappity rap tracks and sticks to pop, dance, and R&B for the rest of this career
would be a graceful exit to rap, only doing rap features here and there and a few timestamps
that being said i’m pretty happy with his output regardless
