This was really fire tbh
The last 10 minutes was a bit odd where I felt like I missed something
the tone of the hospital scene and time skip was just poorly placed . Send help did something similar . Doing time skips when main characters are possibly on d\*\*\*\* , hallucinating or died and entered a false reality is unnecessary. Just show us so we trust what happened
Also didn’t love the last 10 minutes but didn’t let it ruin the rest which was great

Yeah it’s an enjoyable theater experience that I recommend with a packed crowd . Obsession I am more hyped for but saw this to use a list haven’t seen his other movies . Seems many are mixed on it which is fine but it’s not bad at all
Watched this at the drive in last night. Screen was dark as s***. I wish we got to see that demon bunny more, was scary as s***
Saw this a little earlier today and I thought it was pretty good. Adam Scott played it well, the Irish lore was cool/different. Had a fun time.

There wasnt a false reality though. The dialogue and scene is explicit about that

Oh I know it was 100% real I’m saying the tone of it was odd . I say in the spoilers that movies doing rime skips where we question the main character telling does too much for me . It was just an odd ending
loved this. havent seen caveat but oddity was a banger as well.
this s*** was quality start to finish
Not what I expected at all but I really dug this. I felt a very Alan Wake esque vibe to this for some reason. I felt the overall themes of the film were stronger than the horror, of which it was pretty solid there too
You got me dumb hype for this with the Alan wake vibes comment but bruh, just cuz he a writer and it's scary and primarily set in the woods and an attic DOESNT mean it's Alan wake vibes
You got me in the theatre tho so I appreciate it, it was lowkey fire

Lmfao
Safe to say that Adam Scott has successfully made the transition from comedy actor to horror/thriller actor.
I'm a bonafide p**** when it comes to horror movies but I enjoyed this. Damian McCarthy's camera crew were really good within the scenery that they were provided with.
The symbolism and horror elements of grief, generational trauma, and addiction were handled very well.
A few gripes were how characters who seemed very complex ended up just being plot devices or cannon fodder. Certain jump scares felt cheap and unearned. And that I understood the ending but it didn't really pack the punch that I was looking for.
Convinced that Hokum and Cuckoo are both in the same universe since they were both distributed by NEON.
But overall I really enjoyed this and I'm hella excited for Obsession.
I liked this. Took me a while to get a hold of the Irish accent though lol.
The jumpscares apart from that TV in the Honeymoon suite one didn't work for me much and felt like the movie relied on them a lot.
The main character was soooo insufferable. Wished he got chained in the basement too.
rabbit man one of the scariest horror critters ive seen in a long time, that guy scared the s*** out of me

Film needed more of him tbh
Would’ve loved if he was the main look for the witch

honestly i was fine with his minimal screen time, i think it made him far more scary and memorable but i also understand ur perspective
They f***ing did it
They created a horror film that might be worse than long legs
Neon god damnit you green light some awful f***ing horror movies
This was one of the most boring horror movies I’ve ever seen
solid but not amazing
