I struggled there for hours and basically got nothing useful as a reward so just trying to save you the time

if devs wanted it that way then so be it

true, the more you struggle the tougher you get, at least in terms of your mastery over the controls

I spent like 3 memory things on my first crest before I found out there were more so I’m just gonna rock with it for now

Yeah I did the same maxed the starting crest out even though I don’t think it has any special abilities

widow boss is incredible

Grinded out 1500 beads at a spot yielding 29 beads every 18-25 seconds

Shmovement is leagues better than hollow knight even just 4 hours in, this all it needs to be better than its predecessor. I can actually run in this game, come on, and you can do some cool things while running like a super strong attack or a cool mario style somersault.
