Im glad they patched out the double damage from environmental hazards that s*** was awful

as i was fighting Trobbio (Cool boss, i liked him), i was thinking how shards are just a useless feature ngl (and this not a rant lmao wasnt using tools for him specifically)

Like i feel they just made them because they wanted rosaries to be this scarce resource (actually really like this, in HK, specially if u knew what u were doing u never have geo problems) so:

• Created shards so tools didnt use rosaries, they are already scarce enough.

• DIdnt want half the enemies to not drop literally nothing so they made it so at least there is a tiny reward for killing them

And end up with something that ends up being more annoying than useful. Like early game u can easily reach the cap but when u start actually getting good tools u dont get enough of them because enemies drop almost 0 shards

feels like they should made them reset on bench, shards feel like a lil too artificial to me
