i love these threads because they celebrate the greatest album of all time yeezus

but i hate these threads because now every stan who’s fav has a song with distortion on it comes in to talk nonsense

whole lotta red is really really cool but you are f***ing high if you think it reaches the complexity and beauty of anything off yeezus

sounds like ur just biased towards Yeezus and have spent a lot more time w the album than WLR

cus there's not like a huge gap in quality there, both albums are really good

very different albums and if it were up to me i wouldn’t even compare them (my post is in response to previous comparisons i saw on here) that being said wlr is muuuuuchh more focused on the song to song experience while yeezus is about the whole of the album. very different motivations when you think about their pacing and the relationship compositionally between each song. not to say that wlr isn’t a talented or interesting project, but to my taste yeezus is a much much more complex clock, and for me is a more interesting listen. tldr wlr is a punk album. yeezus is not and though they’re both good at doing their own thing, yeezus (to me at least) is much more interesting
