This has played 3-ish times so far again today on Apple Music 1 with another one scheduled tonight @ 8PM EST. My guess is it'll play regularly throughout the week. I'm like 99% sure you don't need a subscription to listen to live radio on AM.

Think a rip will pop up eventually too

fair need to look out for re-runs this week maybe

    Yeah that was great

But before a novel I would really like an album that fully dives into his literary side. Whether that be a rap/poetry centric thing with tracks like Blue Whale (my favorite Frank song) or a straight up Dylan esque album

But something that really puts his words first. It’s my favorite part of his work

A poetry book would be good.

I’m glad a few people agree on where his genius lies.

I think people need to reframe the way they see Frank. He’s not an RnB singer or a musical artist. He’s a writer who happens to have a nice voice.
Seeing him that way will avoid the disappointment of the low music output and let you guys enjoy more of his content.

After Frank dropped his legendary coming out letter. I thought, this man uniqueness vibrates with just words, no music needed.

Then he did the foreword for the moonlight dvd release (highly recommend), that’s when I knew.
    This man is a writer.

He probably used singing in a Trojan horse way to work on more cool stuff (jewellery). But I have no doubt that he will return to what I believe to be his primary inclination; writing.

a poetry book would be amazing

kinda insane how more rappers & singers havent dropped poetry books revive the form

Hmm I’m of the firm believe that rappers are the modern poet.

Most beloved rappers are geniuses. And I’m weighing the word (genius) correctly.

I think in the future they will be viewed that way.

The only reason why they’re currently not is racism.

It also seems like he is incredibly picky, intricate, and mindful of picking music with his songwriting though

At his core, Frank Ocean is a writer.

Read the description of his upcoming apple radio show.
The kid that wrote Nosetalgia Ultra still got the pen.
I encourage everyone to get hold of the short story he wrote in the Boys Don’t Cry magazine too.
I would not be surprised if he releases a novel or two in his middle age.

I know we’re all craving for music.
But his choice of words is his real genius.

Check this out, there were/are plans for a novel.

I agree with you but I think most people would too

I just think it would be interesting if those artists applied their skills in a transferable way . No doubt there’s a lot of rappers that could do it
