The best drake song I’ve heard in a really long time honestly. Would be a great opener.

Rollin also. Makes me less enthusiastic for the album and the tracks they gonna choose.

    I don’t trust ovo anymore

He needs to do a Q&A so I can ask what song was in the place of Vital, Rollin’ and the song with Popcaan because it makes no sense to keep those off an album

It’s the same way every drake album bro all the loosies and leaks are fire and then there’s some mid ass doodoo on the album

I’ve said it 100 times already but it genuinely makes me mad that it isn’t on any project

It’s too good to be left off an album

Wish Drake would just put it on the next one regardless that it leaked

Yea this the type of track you listen to 5 - 10 yrs from now.

Like underground kings I been listening to that song for 8 yrs...
Fear been listening to that 10 yrs or more

As a drake Stan since 07' I've given him a lot of passes regarding this

But IMO it's time to seriously question this about him. There's just entirely tooo many songs that for whatever reason has been left on the cutting room floor.

And this isn't a "since it's a leak we're gonna hype it up more" sort of thing, I think this is a tangible thing that has really held his legacy back on the fringes. Since 2010 these songs are not on any albums

    Omerta
    Vital
    Rollin'
    You Know, You Know
9am (don't count it being thrown in later on TML)
    4PM
    Dreams Money Can Buy
    When To Say When (probably)
    Chicago Freestyle (probably)
    Diplomatic Immunity
Gave Gold Roses away to Ross
    Free Spirit
    Summer Sixteen
    2B1S
    Giving Sicko Mode to Travis
    All I need feat. Popcaan
    Money In The Grave
The ENTIRE IF YOURE READING THIS AND MORE LIFE (Since those weren't "albums")

Drake's desire / responsibility to satisfies different sectors of fans has really held back his albums. As he attempts to make albums that are fit for his fanbases, he leaves a TON of records that are undeniable off of albums and it's one of his few "L's" of his career, not figuring this out.

I mean he gave I'm On One, She Will, and I'm single away

    Insane!

Drake will never do a Q&A, ever lmao

Man 40 had to push drake to put Marvin's Room on TC otherwise it would of been on the cutting room floor too.

    WTF

to me, drizzy's albums suffer from 2 things:

    1) controversy right before his albums debut, which make him remove, add and rearrange songs last minute, making the final product a bit of a Frankenstein monster

    2) poor executive production in general. there's no one there to really give drake's albums direction and make a tight, cohesive product.

to me, scorpion was just that: it both is and isn't a double album, packed with good songs but also all over the place. by the look of the leaks, they kinda cut some good songs and left some medium ones... vital being one of them.

Probably not a popular opinion but I really don't care at all about what songs make what albums or whatever, I'm just so stoked to have them. Obviously I would have loved for them to be on Scorpion or an official album but I have the amazing leaks and I have 25 Scorpion tracks that I love (with the exception of RHB), like honestly all these leaks are just more reasons for me to stan Drake harder than I already did

I get it would make those albums sound better and it would be easier to defend Drake's albums or his GOAT legacy or whatever with the amazing leaks on the albums but I don't care, I just have a bunch of amazing Drake tracks in my library whether on his albums or as loosies

only problem is that leaks are not guaranteed to leak. some will never see the light of day. imagine having a great song that we'll never hear because it's forever vaulted instead of ratchet happy birthday, for example
