And I haven't listened to a tonne of Lizzo, but I believe she's trying to promote body positivity, not obesity. She is confident in herself and her body regardless of what she looks like. Disparaging people for being fat as you and some other users seem very focused on doing is actually not helping the problem of obesity at all, and if it has any impact it's a negative one. There's a lot of evidence that fat shaming actually hurts people and makes it more difficult to self improve, and to subsequently lose weight and make a positive change. Surely Lizzo has had her own struggles coming to terms with her shape and if exaggerated confidence helps her feel good about herself, or helps anyone feel good about themselves, then why try to take that away? You must understand how important confidence is to help someone get up and deal with something?

but ya it does kinda seem like you just don't like black women, or more likely you just have difficulty seeing people outside of their regularly prescribed roles, so seeing someone who doesn't match your idea of what a rapper, or specifically a female rapper, is supposed to be is jaring.
