Best case scenario gotta be just over 200k . Can’t see a dance album doing mega mega numbers

Especially when you consider recent numbers with people like Weeknd , Kendrick and Post not being crazy

    This is great data

Shows people are taking the album in as a whole rather than just the popular tracks

It'll outdo CLB first week imo

only drake can outdo clb first week but not with this album. one with proper rollout (singles, vids, promos, the whole package)

Drake is a superstar. This should easily clear 350k. I would be concerned if it didn’t.

It definitely won’t as a dance album.

That would be ridiculous for him to outsell Weeknd etc and Kendrick after a 5 year build with a left field dance album.

Drake is on another level commercially, compared to those two artists that you just named. He’s been on countless hits these past two years too. Why would his numbers cut in half since last year?

Because it’s a complete house album. You guys like to write off drake success just based on his name but it’s because he makes the most hitting music in the biggest genre/ culture

Making a whole different genre that is a lot more niche and acquired tasted . Not to mention it’s surprise album he announced a few hours before

    Common sense.

people said this about Views & More Life too though to be fair, both those albums did really well.. especially Views. Literally everyone thought Views was gonna be some hard rap album, basically IYRITITL on steroids but instead we got some soft R&B album with a bit of rap sprinkled on

I do agree this'll probably be his worst performing album but I wouldn't be surprised if drake himself thinks this is gonna do well after how well ML/Views did

both of those had a lot of rap songs and straight catchy obvious singles.
