Anyone who spends here use a VPN to a different country to get cheaper prices? I knew you could do it, but didn't really realize that Hoyoverse doesn't crack down on it. Able to get jades for CHEAP (comparatively speaking, anyways).

I haven’t done it on this game yet, but did it last week on Genshin ( ) and haven’t had any problems. Asked around a bit and people who have been doing it for years are fine, so I don’t think there’s much to worry about. Japan seems to be a good country to VPN to since the yen ain’t doing too hot right now lol. Basically like 25-30% off the regular prices, at least here in the US.

Yeah on Genshin, I've done it using Ukraine and have gotten it's basically 38% off (dunno how it is in HSR though). I was gonna try out Codashop, but it kept defaulting me to the US prices even on the VPN

I'm using Nord. Tried doing the same thing as I did with Genshin using Ukraine, and I was getting much higher prices in HSR for whatever reason. Tried connected to the Philippines, but the prices were in Singapore's currency. Tried again with Japan and that was the cheapest (24% off of the US prices). All in game**. I'll probably just use Japan since that's good enough for me.

Nord might just not have a good node to connect to in the Phillipines, so Mullvad might work. You can probably just use the official Hoyo top up shop online to see if that works instead of in game.

Doubt they'd ban since they're still getting money out of it regardless. Not like you're doing a chargeback or anything or using a stolen card either. Also kinda figure they'd take action immediately and since my Genshin account is still fine (and the few others I've asked who have been doing it for years), I'm sure we're good.
