fr zero dawn feels super sluggish when switching back to 30fps, but forbidden west seems smooth enough and locked to 30 in the quality mode

I saw someone say they explore the map in resolution mode and switch to performance during combat, which sounds jarring but I’m gonna have to mess around with it on Friday

depending on how seamless the switch between them is that might be a good option, i was planning on doing 1 playthrough in quality and my second in performance to get the platinum

This s*** looks dope but I couldn’t get through more than like 5-6 hours of Zero Dawn. It was the most repetitive boring s*** ever, it just looked good. Is the story and gameplay loop supposed to be better in this second one?

Still don’t know if I wanna get this. It being exclusive and getting amazing reviews is tempting, but I couldn’t get into the first game. Ugh idk what to do. Plus Gran Turismo in 2 weeks.

Zero dawn starts dumb slow it took me like 7 months to get through the first 6 hours cause I'd stop and do something else after getting bored. It gets a lot better after that and the story gets pretty solid even with bland characters.
If you didn't like the first you probably shouldn't get this

I love how the game looks which makes me wanna get it, but I don’t really care to fight the robot enemies and the characters. The hype gets to me though and it’s tempting.

Remember yall, you gotta purchase the ps4 version of this on the psn website (looks like they sneaky asses dont have the ps4 version on ps5 store) and then upgrade to ps5 free after the game drops. So that means after you preload the ps4 version, you gotta wait until the game drops tonight in respective timezone, then download the ps5 version. Sucks we gotta wait till the game drops to upgrade, but oh well.

This is what confuses me now. I bought it on the ps app on my phone. $59.99 standard edition but in the description it says “upgrade to ps5 version”
But I’m seeing all this must be bought in browser stuff, did I do it wrong?

And yeah I'm not sure what happend on your end sounds confusing. On mine, the ps4 version of the game is there and ready to go, just with the 3 hour timer on it. It doesnt give me the option to upgrade to ps5 yet. I'm assuming it wont appear until the game is playable in a few hours
