Reading on the reddit thats a bug being caused by HDR right now. Everything ultra sharpens when you stop in both modes with hdr on.

yeah it seems like there is something wrong with the image, I'll have to test it without HDR.. that's so much dimmer tho won't be playing it with HDR off

the resolution mode is a little over sharp on static images but the performance mode looks really strange

it's not just blurry like hzd would be at 1440p on my ps4 pro, it's distorted and overly noisy

there is supposed to be a new patch already gonna restart and try later

I tried it for maybe 2-3 seconds and immediately went back to performance. Looked horrendous on my C1.

yeah performance mode is much better tbh
