I hate hate hate the dehumanization and theft of individual identity that people put others, usually ethnic minorities, through.
Selena Gomez, for all her faults, is not a MAGA person. But she is the same ethnicity as an ethnic group who voted for trump more than expected; therefore in some awful people’s minds she is just as bad.
It’s crazy, and basically just repackaged racism.
I can’t even imagine how the people who say things like that’s brains work. Do they even have the ability to understand that races and ethnicities are not monoliths? Are they just speaking in bad faith, or are they that stupid?
