I gotta disagree. I love Blair witch. I’d take more of it. I don’t suspect they’ll make the mistakes of the remake. With the original producers and creatives and involved, it should be in line with the original. Funny enough I really like book of shadows lol. The vibe is nice in that film
fairs i love the original blair witch a lot but i always thought tryig to recapture the magic is stupid
still hope the remake is good

Good list. I want to rewatch some of the Wrong Turn films but none of the streaming apps have them.
Watched nightmare on elm street for the first time last night, fun watch! Really impressed with the practical effects
surprised this thread isnt popping on october. i tried to watch at least one movie a day throughout october and while logistically its an absolute pain i still managed to see a bunch of lovely horror stuff:
i rewatched some carpenter whos my favorite director, gonna rewatch The Thing and They Live which i havent seen in forever at some point this week
gave halloween 4 a try and it was solid, rewatched halloween 3 which is easily my 2nd favorite halloween movie
did the classic re-animator/from beyond double feature, aint seen them in many years, theyre absolutely incredible
finally sat down to watch event horizon which after from beyond and reanimator felt more like reheated nachos than a movie with potential. i dont think a two hour cut would've salvaged it or made it a better movie, people just wanna see the bloody orgy they did in those 30 minutes
plans until end of month: watch some friday the 13th stuff (my least favorite big horror franchise), gonna do a hellraiser 1+2 night (because event horizon obviously) and of course a halloween rewatch on 31st
Watched Rob Zombie's Halloween II last night and it is actually decent if you ignore the ghost Mom parts
I kinda really like how they explored Laurie's psyche here, better than how they did in the original Halloween II. And I kind of like the idea of Michael being this big f***ing TANK, and he was better in this on that end than the first one
Now I did watch whatever was on Peacock which is the theatrical cut so who knows I might like the Director's Cut better
It's not a great movie, it's still like a 2.5/5 but I didn't hate it
I've been watching/rewatching the entire series all month and now I'm down to the Blumhouse Trilogy (which I haven't seen any of them since Ends came out)
Currently I have it ranked:
Halloween '78
Halloween III
Halloween 4
H20
Halloween II '81
Halloween II '09
Halloween '07
Halloween 5
Halloween 6
Resurrection

Hmmmmm
Bout time for a Martyrs rewatch
