safeA lot of y’all complain about music discussion on this site and then feed into s***ty gossip threads and do nothing to promote quality discussion but y’all don’t wanna face that reality so you’ll blame it on the user base or whatever
Gossip is lowbrow so it rightfully gets complained about
But funny enough, gossip might be the most natural form of fruitful discussion regarding music, since the purpose of listening to music isn’t narrative driven like watching a film or reading a novel - there isn’t much the common folk can say about the art of music

oh i agree, the lyrical content definitely took a dip towards being much more aggressive and more aimless but for what’s given, it’s the blueprint to the chronic and has more of a grounded atmosphere and progression with the track list than SoC which sounds more like a group compilation
it’s definitely more dark, and the lyrics express more growing anger and resentment towards the establishment in LA, especially right before the L.A riots
