Slog to get through, subpar songs, a lot of inconsistency as they were still transitioning from their boy band era to their psychedelic era.
Not much redeeming. Revolver >>>>>
how is this a hot take?
i didn’t even know this album existed until just now bc no Beatles fan ever talks about it
It influenced Pet Sounds so you can go ahead and lock this thread and ask a mod for a ban

I absolutely prefer every Beatles album that came after Rubber Soul, but Rubber Soul is still very good

That's weird. Beatles fans I've come across never shut up about it. They say that was the albums where The Beatles "became The Beatles" as it started their run from '65 to '70.
Personally ion give af cause it's f*** The Beatles in general. But I always assumed Yellow Submarine was their worst album because whenever I tell people I actually enjoyed that one they look at me weird.
u hate rubber soul more than the yellow submarine album?
That was the first and only Beatles album I ever listened to because of a music class on George Martin
Its not their worst but definitely not one of my favs
Sgt Peppers, Revolver, Abbey Road top 3
