When I talk about this, I am partly referencing the fact that there used to be a much higher proportion of men in jobs which involve physical labor and that testosterone increases more after intense heavy strength training than regular exercise. Apologies if it offended you by calling this manly activity. I called it manly because this is reflected in industries that involve physical labor being male dominated, and male preference compared with women for heavy strength training. But I can understand how it could offend a woman by outright characterising it as that.
