i think there was something where you can't get welfare benefits and have a man in the home so if you have two young non married parents who have their ups and downs and own bullshit going on or whatever (which is mostly on the father to a degree if he's out f***ing other b****es or not consistently trying to provide to prevent the mother's mind from even going in the following direction)....its gonna come to cutting off the father to maintain getting benefits from the government and thus "your father aint s*** dont want you etc."
combine that with the war on d**** and now 30-40 years later you got folks looking up confused @ where chief keef and youngboy type youths come from lol
im no historian or social welfare expert to know the specifics but i think this is the gist of welfare being against the nuclear black family structure

Then it's not welfare per se that's bad but the fact the politicians only give out welfare to single parents. Blaming welfare as a construct is short sighted, they should blame the politicians not allowing two parents to get the same benefits
