Which 10
Illmatic, It Was Written, Distant Relatives, Stillmatic, Lost Tapes Vol 1, God's Son, Life Is Good, King's Disease 1, King's Disease 2, I am original. He has more too.
I’ve been amused by this whole Jim/Nas saga but gun to my head I couldn’t name a Jim project besides hustlers poem

6/10 I agree with
It’s a hot take in the sense that a lot of loser nerds online who’ve never heard a Jim jones song besides ballin because they had their hip hop sexual awakening when tlop came out are acting as if it’s a complete wash when in reality, as you’ve mentioned, Jim is a good rapper with a long successful career
It is a complete wash. I like a lot of Jim Jones projects but he's not in the same league as Nas. Niggas are letting his swag from that era influence how they judge his career.
The strain of hip hop fan that you mention that got into rap post 2016 with TLOP who would've arrogantly overlooked Jim Jones has mostly been clowned on to the point they aren't taken seriously. But you're just doing the reverse version of that where we over correct and act like he was better than what he really was because he was underrated for so long.

Yeah this is the only one really worth talking about. MOB is really f***ing good but Jim is not the star, Ryder music has some good songs and I used to really like the vamp life mixtapes but at the end of the day POME is the only truly good one but god what a good one it is

No I’ve just always liked Jim jones
Jim has one of the most underrated discographies in rap, consistently been putting out great projects for 20 years
doesn’t have any really bad projects
I don’t agree with life is good or the KDs or I Am. It’s not crazy to say pome is better than that album because pome is a very good album, very close to classic status, closer than any of those albums. Hop off it and let me cook

Nigga first of all Diary of a Summer s***s all over POME, and I wouldn't even say that's a classic. Neither is POME, so let's get that clear.
Second, eat a d***.

Great is a reach but yeah he rarely disappoints. He’s a good rapper. Better than Nas? No. But doesn’t take away from him rocking

You’re now just leaving the argument behind and ranking Jim albums? Did I say something wrong?
