I think issue is electronic music became more of European thing then American thing thinking most of biggest electronic hits of all time were mainly done by Europeans which don’t have as much hip hop culture Americans

I think one closet genres which were interlinked to each other is dubstep & grime which influence it each other but you are right

Both are my two favourite genres, I prefer electronic music and hip hop over rock easily lol

Rock music while I do enjoy it I feel like there is only so much you can do with it and I feel like the ceiling has been touched while electronic and hip hop I feel like there is unlimited possibilities and why there is so many unique and dope scenes across the world
