Beside the fact that it’s been documented a lot of thriller was plagiarized because let’s be honest no one cares it’s still thriller. The weeknd really was doing something special on house of balloons. Like I said I love both of them to death and thriller might have an edge because of nostalgia. House of balloons has songs like the party and the after party man. I don’t need to write a whole six paragraphs for you to understand how special music like that is. Again I love both of them to death but you can’t just write house of balloons off like that.

Well for starters, Billie Jean and Human Nature alone are better than every song on HOB. HOB doesn't have any songs that are better than every song on Thriller
