Trash isn't the right word but 2009-2015 as a whole was the worst era of Jay Z.

His raps were the most dumbed down. BP3 and MCHG weren't even close to his best displays of artistry. And his feature game was hit or miss. I even found Kingdom Come to have more soul and heart than most of what Jay was putting out then.

But he redeemed himself big time with his 2016 feature run followed by 4:44. Imagine what Jay's legacy would be if MCHG was his last solo album.

I see what you’re saying because a Hov feat or verse was a hit or miss from BP3 era to before 4:44. I remember seeing ft Jay-Z during that time and it was very hit or miss.
